Ixchel Destination Dining, translated as Moon Goddess, Ixchel is a traditional trajinera, or gondola-style boat. HAAB Destination Dining, an immersive outdoor dining experience that brings to life the ancient culture, customs and cuisine of the Mayan people. Hidden in the jungle, yet steps from the resort, HAAB’ is the first dining experience of its kind, featuring the four sacred elements of water, earth, wind and fire, commemorating how the ancient Mayans cultivated their food in agricultural fields and forest gardens, and allows guests to actively participate in the narrative.
